'2nd Chances Pg.2' (Class Assignment)

Comic done for my cartooning/comics class at Saginaw Valley State University. While I wrote and drew this, the characters Faruk and Chloe are creations of fellow student and writer Kelsey Mehl Byron.

Kelsey and I are collaborating on a final comic project for our respective classes--and this assignment called for me to create an alternate short story using characters from her original script.

'Xayne & Tanza of Lunar Romance' (Art Jam Piece)

Xayne is the protagonist in a graphic novel I'm working on to be released next year called 'Lunar Romance'. He and Tanza fall madly in love with one another in the span of about a day, and Xayne's primordial enemies exhaust their assets in order to keep them apart--and therefore keep Xayne miserable....

*This is my week 4 submission for the LeeMinKyo-hosted artjam!

R.I.P. Dwayne McDuffie (2/22/11)

All Comicdom is deeply saddened by the passing of one Dwayne McDuffie, an ultra-talented writer of comics and animation, a pioneer concerning the advancement of ethnic superheroes(esp. African-American ones)in mainstream media, and an inspirational hero to those of us creators attempting to follow in his footsteps. He'll be sorely missed, and my prayers and support go out to his family. Thanks for the legacy, Dwayne.:( *Credits Include being the creator of Milestone Comics, Static Shock, and both a central and frequent writer or editor on animated features Justice League Unlimited, Ben 10, Static Shock, and the brand-new animated adaptation of All-Star Superman, among other projects...

'Nightcrawler of X-Men' (Color)g

Current drawing  submitted for Nightcrawler Month in X-Men United group (www.deviantart.com)... :)

'The Connie Mermaid'

My wife's sister(my sister-in-law and good friend) Connie is a HUGE Little Mermaid fan, and I promised her quite awhile ago that I would draw for her something related to the property.

Her birthday was this month(Dec. 2010), so I decided to draw Connie herself as a mermaid, Sebastian and Flounder at her side, as a Birthday gift.

She loved it!

'Two Girls, One Squid' (The Okto-Squad)
